Well-kept gardens with bar to one side

Beautiful gardens near the town centre. Very popular during the summer months.

It doesn't get more Cheltenham summer than a few pints of Atlantic ale from the imperial garden bar. In these socially distancing times of 2020 sit in the sun in a socially responsible distanced group amid the beautiful flower beds which are a feature of "Cheltenham in bloom" in the most Central beer garden in town. The Gustav Holst statue draws children to climb on it and splash about in the current great wave, although I'm not sure how sanitary it is, the kids seem to enjoy themselves. The toilets however are just the public toilets by the town hall which are not great

Beautiful gardens with a cracking bar. Loads of places to sit, amazing flowers, bang in the middle of the centre of the universe, what more do you want

Lovely, typical Cheltenham. People in small groups, sitting on the grass having good time but not rowdy at all. Enjoyed it very much!
