A little oasis of calm. Accessible with ample seating. Shady and sunny areas. Lovely large duck pond and variety of trees and shrubs. Interesting play area. Great coffee and healthy light snacks from converted horse trailer "Butterfly". Well worth a visit.
Such a lovely place to go for a walk around by yourself or with loved ones. Its never overly busy like some parks so you can enjoy the peace too.
For families its great as there is a play park for all ages and there are lots of trees to climb which I know children love to do with parental guidance of course. And now there is now a mobile cafe serving hot and cold drinks and snacks too, definitely an added bonus well needed. Just one down side, they do not have toilet facilities but apparently this is being looked into. Fingers crossed ..... or maybe legs crossed guys 🤣🤣
On a nice day it's a nice park. There is cabin called Butterflies by the kids play area with a lot of different drinks. I had hot chocolate with ginger syrup and chocolate orange cookie (yum!!). Wife had oat milk cappaccino and half-inched most of my cookie (it was the melted chocolate orange segments that made it irresistiable. C
Daughter had minted hot chocolate. 'Very tasty'.
We've been coming to this park for years, and our children have loved playing here as they have grown up. The play areas have been updated over the years and are some of the best for Cheltenham parks. It is also a great place to walk the dog and enjoy the beautiful plants and trees.
There is now a place selling hot drinks (and a few snacks) that really adds to the experience, and is well worth a visit in itself for the excellent drinks and service (note that the park has no toilet facilities so bear that in mind before ordering that extra large latte...)
A beautiful green space with play area, pond and basketball hoop.
There is a tea van on site called the Butterfly Box, staff are very friendly here and the prices are very good. No toilets here though, which is a shame. The surroundings are lovely, and it's nice to go for a walk or let the children burn off some energy in the play area.
