The food here is amazing. The building is qwirky. The owner is ok.
It was a huge shame that our server had a chip on her shoulder, and after an hour of waiting for our food we asked if she could find out how much longer, she responded with "what order", well the one you took ! She'd walked passed us at least 3x to a store cupboard and given we were the only table occupied upstairs, never questioned why we hadn't had the order.
The owner's response was a new pot of tea and blamed a computer.
With such difficult times, it might be an idea to employ someone who can express enthusiasm for her job from behind a mask, actually say hello and apologies to our face not half way across the room as she's leaving, with her back to us.
