Love it. It's a beautiful peaceful heath land with a large lake inhabited by swans, ducks, Canadian geese and many more species. Walking you will see wild birds flitting from tree to tree. All this area is maintained by environmentalists of East Hants District Council. If you're peckish The Plump Duck take away cafe is a good place to satisfy your needs, and all at the lake side.

What a great place to spend an hour or 2. It's a lovely walk around, all level so completely wheelchair friendly too. And so many different types of water fowl! Lovely to see. The coffee shop does a really decent coffee and offers some very tasty snacks (even for picky vegans!) So, many thanks for that.

An excellent trip. A clean beautiful heath and pond. Lots of wildlife and birds. Had a nice stroll around the pond unfortunately did not notice the one way system until too late so signage needs to be improved please. Brilliant children's playground with a lovely big slide and good old fashioned play things. Our 3 year old daughter enjoyed it. Public toilets available and a Cafe, there are also lots of benches and places to sit which is fantastic. Free parking too!

Pleasant place to stroll around the lake for around 20 minutes. Many benches to sit on and enjoy the view of the water. Looked like there may be rowing boats for hire. Dogs allowed. Play ground for children. Quite busy on a Sunday afternoon visit in October. Parking in Heath car park available next to the lake for free. Road parking for free nearby too.

The pond and parks are lovely. The cafe is way overpriced for what they offer and the toilets are disgusting.
