Went in today with my friend who I am in a support bubble with. Upon entering I was told that the two of us had to stand two meters apart even though we were together! Then she was telling everyone else who entered in pairs, be it husbands and wives or partners, to stand separately from each other as well! Since when was this either a Government or Costa rule?! Phoned Costa Head Office who confirmed that this was not their policy at all! Great way to antagonise and lose your customers!
A typical costa coffee, busy and staff were a bit flustered and temperamental other than that. Pretty well located near the shore and 5 minute walk to the beach.
Slight delay on ordering as only 1 staff member, but soon sorted. Hot chocolate was very welcome
Coffee was okay, but staff didn’t have a great attitude and were pretty rude. Better coffee shops around and other Costa stores.
