Crazy cult mentality here - it's like Black Mirror but without all the technology. I was only walking past and they somehow managed to coerce me into coming into the hall and talking about some supposed savior and divine being called Jehovah to me. I was dumbfounded as I am a firm believer of science and logic.
Fair play they are all polite and listened to me but I couldn't help get the feeling that they were just waiting for me to stop talking so they could shove more Jehovah and the impending Armageddon down my throat.
They make nice tea and cake though so I wouldn't say I'd never go back, just not in a hurry.
I was made really welcome here. Warm people and interesting talk.
I'm quite disheartened as when I was at this cult meeting I was only offered biscuits, to my surprise other people of a more susceptible disposition are given cakes. I wouldn't have even minded usually but the biscuit was so old it could have belonged to Jehovah himself. Bring your own snacks or prepare to feel as doom and gloom as the rest of them.
Lovely building very friendly people, outbuilding meetings, everyone welcome.
