Smile Dental Care - Havant

I've had multiple extractions over the years. First time for a very large root not to hurt. Clearly experienced dentist and didn't take to long! Lovely people as well

The dentist is only open for emergencies. I have paid in advance for dental treatment and asked for the money to be paid back into my account. This was two weeks ago. I have now been told it could be paid on the 1st of May. This is disappointing and I can't believe how it could be so difficult to recover money belonging to ne. I will seek further advice.

The Dentist and the Dental Nurse were friendly and professional but my experience of the receptionists and the manager leave a lot to be desired I'm afraid. I arrived 15 minutes early. My appointment was at 09:30 and I had not been called in by 10:00. I checked with receptionist who said "its because you were late". I said I was in fact early. The she said " its because you didn't check in with reception" How she knew I was late if I hadn't checked in I haven't managed to work out yet!!! I said I certainly did check in and was told to take a seat. She then said " I'm the only person on reception and you didn't see me". So to recap I have by now been accused of 1. Being late 2. Not checking in 3. Lying Then "Take a seat and I'll see if the dentist will still see you" as if it would be a big favour to me. I then spoke to the manager re my experience. I also raised a concern that I had witnessed 2 patients with the same surname be mixed up - one going into the others appointment. I'm a nurse, this is serious, potentially dangerous. The manager could not be less interested - no concern, no apology. Disgraceful. The dentist was the only one to apologise and it wasn't her fault. i accept that things go wrong, we are all human, but the response and lack of apology is unacceptable. If you reply to this please do not post your stock reply about contacting the manger at Havant because I don't see that yielding any acceptable response.

I've had plenty of good experiences at Genix in Havant. The Dentist's and Support Staff are usually skilled and very friendly. My only gripe is the lack of consistency with regards to Dentist attendance. I've had a good few appointments been cancelled on me this past year and that's the only area needing improvement.

Was good at first, my son enjoyed coming because of joe one of the dentist. Unfortunately over time things started going down hill, we had to re arrange an appointment and because I didn’t give them 24hrs notice they removed him from the list. I contacted the management and explained what had happened to them be put back on the list again. Unfortunately my son was very poorly and had to take him to hospital resulting in an overnight stay and wasn’t able to attend dentist to which they took him off the books....again! Tried explaining what had happened, they weren’t interested in the slightest!! Do avoid!!!!!!!
