A great free place to park just behind the Old Ship pub. From here you can enjoy a walk along the river or use the water for all sorts of water going craft.
There is a public hard where you can launch your boat or set off in smaller craft.
It’s become even more popular now with more people using paddle boards but please be respectful of other users using the hard & parking.
Great start for a walk down the east side of the River Hamble. A small car park that gets very busy, but worth a try.
Used to be a great place to park up and hit the water but has become very well known and now just gets packed in the summer/warm months. We went for a sunrise paddle recently and the car park was already pretty much full at 5am in the morning on a Sunday! So just be prepared to not get parking.
I took a very bad fall, paths were uneven.... when I attempted to go for a walk. So not a great experience.
Great spot for kayaking etc. Some parking but limited so best to get there on foot to start a lovely walk along the Hamble River.
