Fantastic vets - have helped us with:- - standard vaccinations for two cats - international travel for cats - management of a cat that is unable to be handled by vets - puncture wound in our cat's paw, including infection Always cool, calm and collected. Good at offering options. Have always felt like I'm in good hands. My favourite vet across three different continents.

My Cavalier King Charles had cherry eye. Fiona repaired it and did a wonderful job. She never seemed to have pain and behaved normally straight away. It is very reassuring to take a troubled pet there and to receive good treatment from the receptionist, the nurses and the vets each time. I wouldn’t go anywhere else

The St Kitts team at Hartley Witney are great at doing best what matters most. Their level of care, explanation, compassion and empathy have been outstanding. Thank you

As a long-standing customer of St. Kitts who has over a period of around 20 years invested several thousand pounds in the health and wellbeing of my pets, I took my small dog for a consultation last week (26th August 2020) as she was feeling unwell. After receiving clear information from me as to her symptoms the vet confirmed that she had bruised her spine. After prescribing her pain killers we were asked to return for a follow up today (1st September 2020). This took place and the vet ran his hand over the dog's spine and confirmed there was no further evidence of pain or injury and that no further treatment was necessary. On all occasions in the past St. Kitts have included follow-up checks in the price of the initial consultation but today I was horrified to discover that I had been charged another £40 consultation fee on top of the original. I consider this to be not far short of daylight robbery and am appalled by it. I said as much to the receptionist but was given short shrift - I decided it would have been unseemly to argue the point with her in front of other people in the waiting area so determined to make a complaint requesting the return of this excessive fee. Having searched St. Kitts official website I find the only method of contacting them online is via this public forum (the 'contact us' button led me here). So, contrary to my better judgement, it is here that I must request the return of this excessive charge of £40. I will say in mitigation that prior to today I have always received effective, albeit overly expensive treatment for my animals via St. Kitts. One primary point that has led to this excessive expense has been the default position of taking bloods (at a cost of around £100 each time) virtually irrespective of the animal's complaint. I know this is partly due to the inability of animals to express themselves verbally but there have been several times when I have refused to have the test administered because I have deemed it unnecessary under the specific circumstances of the pet's complaint - I have seen it as a ploy to increase the practice's revenue stream - (I could call it profiteering I suppose). I will not post my email address here because I do not wish to enter into a long-winded and potentially time-consuming dialogue with others who have used St. Kitts. It will be quite easy for the management of the surgery to determine my name and contact details from the information provided here and to make a refund should they see fit.

I had my my beloved cat who was 20 years old put to sleep at St Kitts in Hartley Whitney tonight, this was my second experience which doesn’t make it any easier however I would just like to say a special thanks to Paul Dobson who made me feel very at ease, was so kind and calm throughout, you really do come across that you care a lot for the animals and want to make them as comfortable as possible even at the very end. Also to Joanne on reception who was also very lovely, being there on my own throughout the process was tough but both made me feel much better and that I was doing the best thing for my cat. Thank you both
