Cute cafe with inside and outside seating, overlooking part of the gardens. Good range of options on the menu, and an array of cakes and pastries. Friendly team. However, I’m giving it a 4* rating because the lamb stew I had came out luke warm and there was way more mushroom than lamb (I’m not a mushroom fan), with only a few good pieces of lamb in it. Otherwise, it was a very tasty stew with wonderful flavours. A couple of the potatoes in the stew were very undercooked, one was raw. Would visit again, but would like the stew to be served hot.

Lovely setting but it's not the same hidden gem it was 10 years ago but it's a money making business now....
