My kids like this park, but the equipment could do with some freshening up.
Nice little area with a wide open park, went for a drive. Lovely and clean area! Great place for a jog, or to bring the dog for a run? Be nice to see what it's like in the summertime? Not to busy around there too!. There's shops just up the road, and a pub called the hop Inn! May have a look later on. 😁
This is a lovely bit of open space to go walking, running or even cycling with a dedicated cycle lane running through.
Lots of activities in the children's play park with swings and slides etc.
Everybody there seemed friendly both recent times I've been there with my daughter on a Sunday.
Lots of people walk their dogs there, but both times we've been so far, there was no signs of dog poo anywhere, so people are obviously cleaning up here.
There is a little dedicated road area for the children to practise skills riding their bikes.
Big open spaces for field games and lots of little nooks and crannies to explore.
On Sundays, there is usually a little model railway, run by some friendly enthusiasts, with trains to sit and ride on.
Fully Covid19 compliant, they are only charging £1 per person to have a ride of TWO times round the little circuit.
At that price, do please pay a little extra to pay for the Covid19 cleaning process they have to do after every trip.
I went on with my daughter paying £2 for both of us, with a voluntary £1 extra to help with their cleaning costs. A small token to help them, making it £1.50 each to give a child a delightful little ride :)
If everyone pays that little extra, it will really help them out!
Riverside park is a lovely place.
Something there for everyone!
Lovely place for walking and kids activities, alongside the river. You can feed the swans, ducks and all the other flying animals also from an extension into the river where they all congregate. There's a skate park, a tennis court, kiddies playground, basketball court all free to the public. Toilets not in use currently. Large space for cricket and football.
Lovely place to take walks. Kids park and on weekends have train rides on for a small fee. Plenty of grass areas to sit and have a picnic or sit in the sun.
Can feed the swans and ducks by going on the platoon. But be careful when it's raining as can be slippery, also when tide out, the ladder part can be steep.
