Beautiful spot for a walk around the Common, picnic, sunbathe or a paddle in the river with sunny & shady spots. Area of outstanding natural beauty. No toilet facilities there. Good place to walk dogs. Enjoyed a sunny couple of hours with the cows paddling too!

Beautiful place to walk dogs lovely bit of the river to cool off. Note its not deep enough to swim. Dogs love it and kids. There are free roaming cows . Carparks tiny but free. No toilets.

Lovely place to come for walks and nature. Excellent walks across the river into wherwell passing long bridges and and nice landscapes. The river test has to be one of englands crystal clear rivers and the coldest!! Popular for swimming in the summer and one of the best wild swimming places in the region. Walk north along the river to the more remote parts you have a chance to glimpse an otter!

Between Chilbolton and Wherewell. Both picturesque villages. Paddle area for kids by a small wooden bridge. Long wooden walkway/wooden bridge across the river test, near Wherwell. Large open area, good walking. As the name suggests cows roam where they want, so be aware.
