Such a lovely place to sit and stay, in the summer that is. You can sit for hours and watch the boats sail by. As true childhood favourite!

The fountain needs properly cleaning. Not just having leaves dredged out of it. And fix the motor. Even if we have to pay 20p for it again. Get it fixed. There's plenty of money in the area. Since this review, the council have basically drained it and left it SBNO. very poor, spend some money on the places people go, the through traffic is high here, and a working fountain will fulfill all the benefits it was built for, many years ago..

Very good viewing area for Spinaker tower and well maintained garden,very peaceful and pretty in summer.Gate way to Gosport from Portsmouth.
