Lawrence Martin of CLJ roofing started some work on our roof. We paid 50% upfront as he was offering “discount”. Initially work on the loft and roof went well. He then started to ask for more money upfront even though the work was going slow. After few weeks, he and his team stopped working. Then they made every excuse possible why the work was being delayed…. Every time we spoke to him, he kept lying and fobbing us off. After a while he stopped communicating with us. We are now left with an open roof and worse leak than we started with. He runs an elaborate scheme; He will set a company with his father Colin Martin. They will start doing few small jobs and build up reviews and “trust”. Once they have taken more than 100,000 pounds of customer’s money without doing the work then they will fold the company up. They will use fake addresses ( Deacon Road, and Ferrymans Quay) which do not belong to him. I have attached pictures of Mr Lawrence Charles Martin, a roofer, a builder but in reality a lying thief with no conscience to protect the greater public. AVOID THIS MAN AND HIS ASSOCIATES AT ALL COST! … If he turns up at your address then call the police. He has changed the name to Roofing tech. This is not registered with Company House. He is about to fold this company and start another soon.

Lawrence lies and denies everything. The job started off well and many people turned up and did good work, however excuses and delays started quickly and more money was demanded and now we are left without a roof for three months and internal water damage which he constantly denied was his doing, he makes every excuse possible for why he couldn't bring tiles or materials. Yet he found a way to complain about his new van getting scratched when trying to fob us off with the wrong tiles. NEVER get involved with this guy and any of his businesses. Being the crook he is, he has changed the name on here to roofing tech. THIS COMPANY IS CLJ ROOFING LTD and all reviews are about CLJ ROOFING LTD

Zeros stars for this guy Roof Tech is CLJ roofing LTD , they have 7 CCjs against them. I am number 7 ... he has not paid a single one. The address is false on here. I have his address if you want it? He did work in our house, on the roof, etc and left the job with my money and all my materials he says he bought with our money. He stripped the place bare and walked off . Every breath this man takes is a lie. Go to Companies house and look for Lawrence Charles Martin ....thats him, LM MAINTENANCE LTD Company number 10381368 went under owing £166000 , £60000 + to HMRC

Wish I could give this guy no stars. Did work on our roof last year, leaked again so had to get someone else in. They reliably informed me that they had totally over charged us and not actually fixed the provlem. Left lots of rubbish in my garden; the old roof, other roofing material, buckets, general rubbish and cigarette ends. Contacted him several times through phone and email to remove this rubbish and got fobbed off each time, in the end he stopped responsing. Do not touch this man or his associates with a bargepole.

I think they have gone bust. I paid for some work early October and not heard since. Under no circumstances give Lawrence any money up front.
