Farlington Marshes is a great place to visit, however, the car park is a little awkward due to it being so narrow. Easy to get in to but harder to get out of as you are straight out onto a busy roundabout. Single track road between sections of car park, with no passing places, makes for a slightly nerve wracking experience.
Free freash air good walk and good if you are a Birdy
Wonderful place for a walk overlooking Solent and a very good place for bird watching.
Unsigned height restriction on car park, got stuck with small van and found it incredibly dangerous to reverse back on to the main road. Marshes are great if you can get in the car park.
Not the easiest track to follow, but well worth the effort if you enjoy the views and wildlife. Apart from the car park there are no facilities, however the site is close to Portsmouth and it's attractions. During my 1 hour visit, I spotted several bird species not seen before!
