Wonderful late Victorian (or Edwardian?) building that looks slightly out of place in
a medieval market town. We wandered around inside, but there did not appear to be any guided tours per se.
Had a great time at the Cider Festival here. Can't wait till the next one.
Went to the vintage cloths sale. These are held regularly at the
Guildhall. Nicely surprised. It really is jam packed with vintage cloths. £3 for early bird tickets. £1.50 for going later. I got a nice silk scarf and super leather bag. Hubby came away with a fab leather waistcoat. Perfect for Steampunking. We will be back.
Yeah too many themed nights that aren't that great. Guildhall need to vet these businesses better instead of just taking the money.
They've jumped on the catering band wagon downstairs and failed miserably. Come no now, sort yourselfs out.
Great building and good venue for events. We visited a craft fayre here which was well organised with great selection of different crafts. Good, clean facilities.
