My husband and I had an incredible experience trying various drinks this afternoon! The owner is so warm and welcoming, and extremely passionate about what he does. We loved the three drinks we tried, each handcrafted with local, extraordinarily fresh and high quality components that paired so well together we had to stop ourselves from trying the entire menu in just one visit! The woodsman was our favourite, it’s limited batch maple syrup and smokey house created milk rounding out the incredible iced coffee concoction. The peppermint milk was warm and merry - perfect this time of year. I loved how it tasted like a milkshake but without the heavy, fattening ice cream! They also stock various rare foods and gifts from around England, so a perfect stop for foodies! We can’t wait to return for more!

I've often thought there must be so many different flavors in the natural world that we never get to taste (along the lines of dandelion and burdock). This cafe mixes some of those herbs, seeds, roots etc you've never heard of with things you have to make a refreshing "something different". I had the hot peanut milk. Very nice!

Just off the High Street, what an amazing gem this place is! Locally foraged ingredients like seeds, fruits and roots are fermented, roasted, brewed, or combined with the shop’s own honeys to produce delicious and unique concoctions. All paired with some tasty local treats made to centuries-old recipes - and in a comfy, stunning bar/cafe that you could sit in for hours. Eoghan, the owner/barkeep is a remarkable bloke himself and has so much knowledge about foraging and a real passion for long-forgotten recipes using unknown or unexpected British ingredients and ancient cookbooks. In a world of “same-old” bars and coffee shops - this is a genuine one-off. It’s a rare and special place that deserves to be known by everyone.

We walked past and were intrigued by the idea so decided to pop in! I'd say that Proudfoot is more than just unique drinks - it's a whole experience! Lovely to find out about how ingredients have been foraged and prepared. Great service and fab alternative to boozy cocktails!

What a fabulous place... Lovely calm environment.. Unusual drinks selection obviously made with passion and care... I had a peanut hot drink which was delicious and lots of interesting foraged items too.. Forget the large high Street coffee chains and support this great place to meet your bubble... Sort local.. I loved it there thanks Owen.. I'll be back very soon 👍🥔🍯🥤
