This is the former Magnox nuclear power station which is being decommissioned safely to stringent,strict rules and regulations.
It is NOT open to the public.
There are attractive woodland walks around the outside with paths linking Maentwrog, Gellilydan and Trawsfynydd.
You can walk around the lake or cycle on the paths.Some are wheelchair accessible.
There is the Lakeside cafe which offers great food up to appx 1430.
Customer toilets and parking.
Incredible views.
Bus stop outside.

Appx 1-1½ miles from the beautiful village of Trawsfynydd,former home to famous world war 1 Welsh poet,Hedd Wyn.
