Great place to leave them, Paul and Hazel love the cats.
We have had our two cats looked after here so many times. I love the layout where all the cats are located. They all have their own rooms, baskets, toys, food, water. They also have music playing to keep them entertained. Owners are lovely and give kitty's good brush and attention throughout their stay. I would definitely recommend this place for any cat!
Our very old cat, Amber, could not have been better looked after over Christmas.
A long time ago I had left a cat in an Essex cattery, and he was caged for 2 weeks. I made my mind up not use a cattery again.
Doone Lodge could not have been a more different experience
Hazel and Paul did everything they could to make his first experience of a cattery positive, and I'm sure he was less lonely than he had been when in his own home.
They even got him a little coat!
We were very lucky that space was available.
Hazel and Paul are both lovely people and really do love the cats they look after. Was worried at first when dropping off my Buffy for a stay, but after seeing how well the cats are looked after there, I didn't worry anymore. One word of warning - book early at busy times of the year!
Hazel and Paul’s lodge is based on their genuine love for cats. Very attentive and caring. Each cat is known by name and character (apparent on rebooking after a six month holiday abstinence when Hazel immediately knew my cat and “her” surname). Classical music is a nice touch, along with the play toys.
