During this pandemic I have been thinking about Steve and Paws.I am pleased to see that Paws is still open for business.I have used Paws for well over 20 years and they have looked after my three Black Labradors with so much care.Oliver and Rupert are no longer with us but Bruce is and has stayed 3 times and each time he has been eager to go and somewhat reluctant to leave! They are such a caring team and put up with my instructions for his feeding.During this time when I was experiencing problems with my elderly.parents .Steve took our dog in at very short notice he could see I was upset. He helped me more than he realised. These are the type of people I would entrust my dog with.Thank you Steve and your Team.Keep safe.John Jones

When we tried to book our three dogs into the Kennels we previously used they were fully booked. So looking round and reading the reviews and speaking to other customers of Paws we decided to try and use them. After having a look round and introducing our dogs to them prior to their stay we booked all three dogs in for 3 nights over a long weekend. The service, cleanliness of the kennels and exercise areas and friendliness of all the staff couldn't be faulted. Their love and passion for dogs shines through. We had no hesitation is booking our dogs in and they seemed to love it! Certainly our kennel of choice going forward. Fantastic place that treat your dogs like their own. Highly recommended.

My partner and I needed somewhere to look after our kitty at short notice a few years ago and Paws came to the rescue. Since then, we haven't even considered going anywhere else. The staff at Paws are amazing, so friendly and happy to be there, you can tell they do their job because they love it, not because they have to. We are known by name, not because we go there that often, but because they care about their clients and it makes the difficult task of leaving our kitty easier each time. Paws are reasonably priced and wonderful, if you need to board a cat or dog, they're the ones for you!

We left our boy Bear overnight while we went to a show in London. We've never used kennels before and were wary. We absolutely didn't need to worry! When went to collect him the next day, he didn't want to leave! Big smile on his face! We are already thinking of when he can go again for an overnight visit to his favourite hotel!

I had to put my daughters dog in at short notice when she went into hospital. The gentleman who booked her in seemed friendly and polite. However, when we picked her up a week later, we had a very rude reception from a woman (who didn't even introduce herself). We were shouted at because we rang the bell a second time, having not been sure if we were heard the first time. Then we were reprimanded for not having arrived "first thing". We were there at 7.30am. Yes, 7.30 in the morning and still told off for not being early enough. The only information the woman gave us about my dogs time at the kennels was the cost. She simply stated how much we owed her and took payment. Nothing else. We could not get away fast enough, I was actually shaking and upset with the rudeness, and really concerned as to what the real treatment of the pets is like if the customers are treated so rudely. My poor pup came home with bald patches and a sore over her tail, jumping with fleas in spite of the fact she'd been up to date with preventative treatments, and with a nasty case of mites. I would recommend not bringing a dog within a mile of this place.
