I wanted to see more, it's a beautiful place with freshwater streams and many different enclosures. The reason I only gave it 3 stars is because we couldn't really enjoy it, the river was packed with people and there were massive groups of walkers at every turn so we had to keep on diving into bushes etc to let them pass. Will update when life is back to normal and people can't be quite so bothered to stay local.

Gorgeous place for a walk. There's also the opportunity to dip your feet or have a little swim if that's your thing. Small amount of roadside parking with a 2 hour limit. Paths are a bit narrow for passing but still a beautiful area

Fantastic place to go for a walk away from daily routine. In summer time great place to picnic and have a swim in river Itchen. Beautiful surroundings. Lovely pub with great food and beer garden half way up the river. Bikes , kayaks highly recommended

We had a picnic on the bridge and dangled our legs over the stream and it was absolutely perfect. Very pretty spot. If you haven't been before... walk through the field taking the right path (or rather walker marks) and carry on round.

Beautiful spot, great for swimming in Crystal clear water. Gets very busy early...
