It's the better of the park and ride locations around Winchester as it has the largest number of spaces. The indoor waiting room is useful, especially in winter, as are the toilets that have saved me a few times after extended commutes in rush hour traffic. Another benefit, especially around Christmas time, is that being as it's the start/end of the route the buses are empty. Other P&R sites on the route can have already full buses turn up in peak times.

Handy to use for a trip into town. Make sure you have change for parking though.

Winchesters park and ride must be one of the best in the country, I'm sure there are lots of reasons why Southampton can't copy them but if I were them I'd find a way soon or get left behind . For a few quid I can be in Winchester city having parked without a problem in 20 mins or so . Buses on time and regular throughout the day absolutely brilliant .
