Mick and his team have rebuilt our 1860 cottage roof to give us a new loft conversion for our master en-suite bedroom. Mick is probably one of the most experienced and conscientious builders I’ve come across in 40 years of owning homes and we relied upon his expertise and knowledge to guide us through a challenging project. His work is to a very high standard and I have no hesitation in recommending him and his team if you’re looking for a quality builder to do your build work.

From the first 2 minutes into the phone call with Mick, it was obvious we had found the right person to take on our job. He successfully hand cut a new roof to our existing wall plate on a very old cottage in Southampton. The wall plate was in & out, up & down, yet the end result was perfect. Building control were very happy. Material wastage was very low & Mick always foresaw extra materials that would be needed the following day, avoiding extra trips to the builders merchants. Also he was able to think out of the box when asked to do other carpentry work on the roof to get the job completed. Always arrived on time and an easy honest person to do business with

Over the years I have used Michael from The Hand Cut Roofing Specialists a number of times in various homes I have owned. I have always found him to be efficient and extremely knowledgeable and a skilled tradesman. Defiantly not a cowboy.
