A classic example of a fading, famous town centre. Some great shops are still here with friendly staff but the centre is a sad relic of past glory. Is the reason a greedy town council charging unrealistic business rates? Or, is it also to do with most of the army relocating from Aldershot? Probably a mixture of both. Very sad.
This place has seen better days. Its stuck in time and over due for a face lift and new energy. Has a variety of shops to get most if what you need. But at times feels as if you've landed in a parallel universe where everyone hiding a secret.
