This place is just awesome! We had a picnic with there and this was great for social distancing. The staff were very friendly and informative. The alpacas themselves are the most cutest , friendliest animals and Dave even decided to lay down with us! Would definitely recommend!
Spent a lovely morning walking a Crea called Onyx. This was a wedding anniversary present from my hubby. The staff were very friendly and Caroline gave a very interesting and informative talk about the alpacas. Best bit was feeding them treats along the way. Plenty of photo opportunities. Very good hygiene plenty of hand gel provided. All the alpacas were well behaved and very gentle.
Fantastic experience. Despite being one of the hottest days of the year, the staff were fab. Very knowledgeable and able to answer all questions. They took into account the welfare of the animals in the heat and the public, ensuring to stop in shade where possible and allowing the alpacas to take food and water breaks. Special thanks to Katrina who was at the front of the walk with us and was happy to answer our many questions. Thoroughly recommend a visit here. The babies (cira) were an added adorable bonus! Lovely to support a local experience like this. Go and book a visit now! 😃
Had a wonderful day with a friend for her birthday picnic. The two ladies who are staff are amazing with lots of knowledge and information. Walked with the females and newborns in the first field, then walked along the river and got up close with the males who are kept separate. I found the whole experience relaxing and very enjoyable. After the walk and meeting of the alpacas, we sat in the field to eat our picnic , and at some point but not immediately the babies and females joined us to have a nose, but were not intrusive in any way . They have a small shed stall just in case you would like to make a purchase. Prices vary from just a few pounds . You don't feel like you have to make a purchase in any way. I would highly recommend a visit to this farm .
Lovely morning. Informative and friendly staff. Felt safe with plenty of hand gel.
The alpacas are 1.5m as you walk in a line the 2m distance is easily kept.
