I have visited several Simmons bakeries on my travels and must say they make an excellent jacket potato, but really good. Unfortunately thus is the best I can say for them. Most other things look mediocre and do not entice the pallet. The bread is like any other mass manufactured, processed product, need I say more. My latest visit was made slightly more regrettable by the frankly miserable staff, though in fairness this is the first time I have not seen friendly people serving in Simmonds, equally it is during Covid. In my humble opinion if Simmons invested in making better quality products their popularity would soar.
