10/10 brilliant helpful and friendly staff. Great knowledge with bunnies I 100% would go here again, reasonably priced too. Thank you for everything you done to support Meadow 🥰
Vet was exceptional, very engaging and took the extra time to answer many of my questions.
Good on price but not the absolute cheapest, but no long wait for an appointment and very friendly & knowledgeable staff so equals out as value for money.
It's also in a convenient location inside pets at home, but it almost certainly means you're buying a treat for your poorly friend on the way out 😂
Fantastic staff from the receptionists to the nurses to the vets! Always so helpful and caring.
I took my little hamster to be see Friday night he was seen by Alberto. I explained he was not himself he was very sluggish and limp I was told to see how he was over night and if still concerned take him back in the morning. The next morning I was even more concerned my little hamster was not eating or drinking he could bearly walk and was slumped over, had diarrhea and was sticky and wet around his tail. I told Alberto I believed he had wet tail but he disagreed and sent me away with pain relief for him. I left vets for pets at 10am and by 2pm I was leaving my hamster at another vets to be put to sleep as he did have wet tail and by that point it was to late for him. The new vet said my hamster was extremely dehydrated and he had gone into shock and the kindest thing to do would be to let him go. I called vets for pets and Roger the manager called me back, it was clear from my phone call with Roger that his main concern was Alberto's welfare as I cant actually say how many times he told me Alberto was traumatised and very upset. This is something I obviously have no interest in as I have 2 children and they im certain are far more traumatised. Alberto told me my little hamster had no symptoms and no signs of infection when he was faced with,
*not eating
*not drinking
*lymp
*struggle to walk
*diarrhea
*wet and sticky bottom and tail area
These are all signs of infection.
I was panicked as it was 6.15pm on a Friday evening and I didnt do any research about where I was taking him. Please don't make the same mistake! I am expected to believe that in 4 hours my hamster went from displaying no symptoms (even when faced with above) to being so dehydrated he went into shock and needed to be put to sleep immediately. Coco was just a baby he was 3 months old and had I have done a bit of research things may have been different. As a gesture of good will I was refunded for the appointment and the pain relief that was given to me for a hamster that was put to sleep 4 hours later. I hardly think refunding me for medicine prescribed incorrectly by the vet is a good will gesture! I will be taking this as far as I can in hope that Alberto is more careful the next time he is with a small animal! Just to add i accepted my refund but have no interest in any kind of compensation I want Alberto to have some kind of refresher course as its quite clear he needs further educating when it comes to hamsters. Roger also mentioned about albertos English not being perfect and perhaps he did not understand clearly what I was saying in which cause maybe a refresher in English wouldn't go a miss either! I left one star as there's no option to leave no star.
DO NOT USE VETS FOR PETS!!!
Looked after my 5 month old kitten when she broke her paw. Emma the nurse was an absolute gem
