We visited the newly opened bird hide with observation tower and hide. We were one of the first visitors and pleasantly surprised our dogs were allowed in all except the tower. We ALL enjoyed exploring it. Fantastic displays with animal sound clips and other multimedia displays. Great educational experience for all ages and an historical timeline of the parks history from gravel pit days to the World class development of today. Close to main car parks and with bicycle parking too. Fantastic to visit all year round. I can't thank the staff and personnel involved enough. Make it part of your walk or cycle ride. Not to be missed

Fantastic place. Very quickly you can forget that you are so close to London. Park is very specious with beautiful river Lee and lakes all around you. You can spend few hours just walking and feeling the nature that is surrounding you. You can also cycle over there as the paths are suitable for it.

Nice for a walk round but could do with a refreshments area.
