Elegance Dental

I walked into Elegance Dental this morning very aware of my unsightly chipped tooth . Erika was utterly wonderful, as always. She was immediately reassuring, friendly and calm. After what seemed a very short time I was peeping in the mirror and almost laughed aloud. How she had managed to transform my broken tooth, and the one beside it, so beautifully I cannot imagine. I grinned all the way home. . I am a very loyal client of the practice and at every appointment I have been greeted with kindness and courtesy. The wonderful young ladies on the desk and helping in the treatment rooms always have a smile and a warm welcome are very professional in their loyalty. I cannot fault any aspect of the practice. I have complete confidence and trust in Erika who has looked after my teeth for many many years. I am profoundly grateful. I have been a patient of Simon’s for a number of years and always found him to be an absolutely brilliant dentist and an complete perfectionist! Although I really wanted to write a review based on a recent visit due to my daughter falling over and breaking one of her front teeth – the treatment, way my daughter was looked after - the whole experience was amazing especially for my scared 8 year old daughter. I’d like to mention Erica and Laura in particular, as Erica’s treatment was fantastic and so good you literally cannot tell the tooth had been completely broken. Laura was great from start to finish, not only a consummate professional but really helped my daughter feel at ease and relax. I would not hesitate in recommending Elegance Dental and their team to anyone!

I have been a patient of Dr. Lam for many years - pre-dating the current premises, and the fact that I followed him must say something. Recently, he identified two ancient crowns, one of which had a hole worn in it, and one he thought might be leaking. Both were removed, and the one thought to be leaking had rot under it - the fact that he caught this no doubt prevented a later crisis. There was not much tooth left, and potentially I needed an extraction. The better tooth was prepped and capped, and the dodgy one reviewed again when there was less blood around. Dr. Lam spent one hour forty minutes sorting this out and saving the tooth, and a cap was put on today. The point here is that I suspect it would have been easier to extract than fix, and I am sure that without going an extra mile, as Dr. Lam did, I would have lost the tooth. I might add that I was pretty nervous about all this, but despite being seriously deep work, it was both painless and handled sympathetically. I didn't even feel the injection. Having also seen Erica whilst Dr. Lam was away at one point, with similarly good results albeit for a smaller problem, I can recommend the practice in general, and Dr. Lam in particular. Dental nurses Louise and Tilly have been there "for ever" and provide excellent support, and a team that has worked together for a long time is an endorsement of itself, in a way. Recommended.

A brilliant dentist, all staff are always very friendly and helpful. My braces were on and off very fast. I am now so happy with my teeth and for an affordable price. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering.
