It's muddy at places and very busy. Many park at the side of the road rather than at the proper car park. Be prepared to wait for a while to get a parking space
If you like walking through the woods this has it all. From 2miles to a 17 miles it's great.
Great place for a long country walk.
Grounds are great - but parking is limited - especially when the weather is nice - and there are insufficient toilet facilities when it's busy. Would recommend visiting during the week outside of school holidays.
I have visited Ashridge Park many times a year over the past forty years or so with my family and always had a great time, summer or winter. The trees are fantastic with paths throughout the park, if you wish. Visitor center and cafe , with great food, is a very good place to either start or finish
