Easy to use car park with good access to main town

Hemel Hempstead apart from the old town has never really appealed to me with the run down Marlow’s especially Bridge Street. Riverside shopping area is a big improvement. What is spectacular is the Water Gardens this beautifully landscaped area with its river fed lake and indigenous plants is superb. There is a glorious arbour with a variety of beautiful shrubs and plants that is stunning and covers a large area adjacent to the Marlow’s. The Water Gardens development was partially funded by the lottery fund, Its worth a visit just to see what a tasteful development this is. They have also seeded a beautiful set aside next to the Riverside surface car park

It's beautiful here. You can take a nice walk along the river. See the flowered area and there is a park. However it's not really suitable in my opinion, for very small children. But there are play areas in the centre, which is really close.

Very small park for kids..well designed and safe..

Cheap to park and free out of hours. Since the council have spent a lot of time and money doing up the river and gardens it is also now a very tranquil setting.
