Disappointing.
I visited this store several times over the past week. I have tried the pastries/cakes.
Overall food quality experience is very disappointing:
1. The Apple cake:
A weak option.
too sweat,
not appealing.
No crust.
blend taste.
Disappointment.
2. The traditional jelly donut:
ok.
Too much jelly inside, jelly is Mediocre.
covered sugar is too rough.
The actual donut was baked properly.
3. The Cherry cake:
comes as a wrapped block.
This product is NOT good and I reccomand you to stay a way from it.
The daw is sticky and result with a terrible sticky sweat mash.
loaded with too much sugar.
The cherries inside taste industrial.
All-together a very disappointing mushi creation.
I had to trash it.
Store overall:
The presentation is nice and therefore the disappointment as baked goods quality is very low.
It’s a shame since the area needs a quality bakery.
Very friendly and efficient staff, the food on offer is varied and delicious. Overall impression - perfect
Excellent customer service, tasty breakfast and lovely mocha coffee. Highly recommended
Love the Almond Nut Danish cake from Stevenage Simmons and the staff are always so friendly there😊
