Sainsbury's Café

There's no love!!! Wonky signs on the wall, empty plates on display, finger marks all over the specials sign on the wall, dirty tables. Staff clear the tables but don't clean them, with crumbs and coffee marks from previous customers on almost every table. Whoever is running the cafe should get prodded to direct staff better and actually put some love into what could be a lovely cafe.

I took my business partners to this Sainsburys establishment in order to discuss our new business opportunities over a spot of lunch. Our first impressions were not great as my partners criticised the shoddy flooring and dead interior. My business partner Mark ordered the sausage in thus baguette but was told they had not stock thus baguettes today, even though they have a bakery on the lower floor. This didnt put us to a halt ! Quick thinking by Mark and he ordered the side of fries instead. My other partner Billy ordered the ham eggs and chips.I ordered the all day breakfast without any issues. We then proceeded to wait 30 minutes for my food to arrive even though Mark's arrived within 5 minutes, this was an outrage and expressed my disappointment to my fellow business partners. By the time my food had arrived my business partners had already finished there meal. This meant I had to rush to finish my meal which caused me very bad indigestion. I then did not have enough time to discuss our new business opportunity which would have made us millions. My business partners then proceeded to end my contract and fire me from our multi million pound 4D printing company and put me out on the streets like a green bin on a Tuesday morning. I have further had to re mortgage my 5 bedroom house and sell all of my possessions including my BMW 5 series with all genuine parts to make ends meat. I now work at the local M&S retirement home serving the pensioners there afternoon tea! To conclude, Sainsburys cafe has left me bankrupt and essentially ruined my life. Cheers ! Regards Kam

No coffee, no draft drinks, barely any food, No napkins just cheap blue roll. Very dirty tables. The staff on the till was unhelpful. Avoid at all costs.

One of the worst places I've eaten in a long time. We waited over half an hour for a jacket potato and hot chicken roll which should have taken no more than a few minutes to prepare. The jacket was ok but the hot chicken sandwich was made with chicken slices and not rotisserie chicken which was disappointing. Most of the tables were untidy and dirty. Marks and Spencer's have a cafe next door which is much better food and service. Would not recommend.

In need of some real management and staff training!! There was one member of staff trying to deliver an average service, everyone else just clocking in and out. Tables were dirty despite only a few people in the cafe. Food is OK, but not up to usual Sainsbury's Cafe standard. Toilets were almost unusable, not even soap! Where do the staff wash they're hands after going to the loo ?!?!
