Very good service, so helpful with advice that saved a huge deposit being taken. Good car, speedy 'check in' and return. Will definitely use again if needed

Pre booked a car and 2 hours before pick up they called to let me know they didn’t have any cars available. I don’t think it was the branch itself, more a terrible booking procedure that doesn’t check stock levels. Called Enterprise Stevenage and they were able to book me a car straight away.

5 stars purely for the excellent service George provided. He was very transparent about car availability and even let my wife view the cars first in person a day before we were due to pick it up. In the end he suggested we go for a brand new Passat which made our 1,700 mile journey a joy. Will most definitely be using Europcar again as long as we continue to deal with George.

I would like to share my awful experience renting a car with you in the hopes you can prevent another person from experiencing the same as I did: First, I organized car delivery. It was meant to be dropped off at 10am but ended up being dropped off at 3-4pm During the first 5 minutes of the drive I noticed it was very hard to shift gears between 1 and 2. I'm not mechanic but it was clearly a gear box issue. 30 minutes into the drive, the tire pressure warning light come on. I found this out by searching the internet for 20+ minutes as the car did not have the owners manual in the car. Worried (I was driving with 2 young children), I called the number you provided when things go wrong and I was on hold 30 minutes - 2 times. I'm sure you can imagine what it's like being at the side of the road with 2 screaming kids and not getting connected to any help. I drove to the nearest petrol station and filled the tire up. Once home, I called to find out what we could do. There was obviously a problem with the gear box and I didn't want to have an issue with the tire pressure while driving down the motorway with 2 young kids in the car again. I was told I would get a call back. After an hour of waiting I called again. Again, I was told I would get a call back. And again, no response. In total I called 15+ times for a 3 day rental to find out why my car was so late in being delivered, and whether we could fix the issues the car had. But nothing - I never got a call back and was forced to drive the faulty car to the airport to not miss our flight. This is not only the worst service I've ever received from a company, it's also the most dangerous. I would appreciate it if you contacted me back so we can push this further. This should never happen to another family again.

If you like to ruin your life go to EUROPCAR. The worst service face to face in Stevenage I can ever Imagine. Of course they sent me to the net. Here, I could not find Customer Services. The boss was hiding in the next room while the employee spoke to me and tryed to face my problem. They do not mind my problem. They do not explain you anything. They took a deposit from my account and after 13 days I have still not be refunded it. Really very bad service, rude, untrusty, no transparent...HORRIBLE. FRAUD. I do not have refunded the deposite of the hire car I did the 29/10/20. VERY DIFFICULT GET THROUGH CUSTUMER SERVICES. I HAVE BEEN STOLEN. the answer they give me is always the same. BUT This happen to me more than 10 work days ago. Customer Service is useles .They said put in contact with my bank.
