Highly recommend this dental practice Dr Newman and the nurse Chaya made my daughter fell extremely comfortable and she actually looks forward to going to the dentist. I felt perfectly safe as-well during this covid time, it was a very pleasant experience, which I haven't been able to say in the past about dentist experiences!
In the past, I've only ever been to the Gingerbread House to see Jo Diamond, one of their amazing hygienists. But recently, I've required very intricate dental work and yesterday I was treated by Dr Adam Newman at the Gingerbread practice, rather than my usual dentist I attend at another practice. The whole experience from start to finish, was both stress-free and pain-free, leaving me delighted with the results. Adam was very kind, calming, thorough and professional. As he went along, he explained what he was doing and why, which is very reassuring when one is lying in the chair feeling very vulnerable. Along with his nurse, Julia, they made a great team. She anticipated his next request and had the equipment ready to hand to him, almost before he'd even asked for it. They were both very friendly, professional, reassuring and gentle, to the point that I was so engrossed in the TV show I was watching, that I totally forgot they were even "working" on me. The whole experience was oddly almost enjoyable, having been dreading it for a while. From being welcomed by Sue in reception with a cup of coffee, to leaving the practice after two hours of treatment, I would like to thank all the staff and the practice for everything they did for me yesterday. Very highly recommended.
Mel the hygienist is so gentle I almost fell asleep during my treatment. I’ve been to other dentists where the hygienists treatments were painful, I had lots of bleeding but with Mel she’s careful, takes her time with no trauma to endure. My teeth look really white now and my gums are super healthy. I like to visit every 3 months as prevention is better than the cure. Lovely reception staff too. Can’t recommend her highly enough!

I registered as a patient of the Gingerbread House as I moved to Shenley recently. I was with my previous Dentist for 19 years. Dr Adam Newman is brilliant, he diagnosed an existing condition on my initial consultation, and I was able to get it rectified before it turned into a painful bigger problem. A few months later I broke a tooth, and I was able to contact Dr Newman out of hours to get a next day appointment which he then successfully treated. I have also had a few hygienist appointments which have been very good too. I would thoroughly recommend the Gingerbread House and will be registering my family with the practice imminently.
