Start of a walk up into the cwm to see the slaters cottages and beautiful scenery. Had kittens on the drive up as you can get within metres by car. PLEASE park in village - responsibly- or by the power works and walk up.

Beautiful. The mix of stunning natural scenery and slate quarry history made it a unique location to take the kids fishing at Llyn Cwmorthin above the waterfall (You need an EA fishing license and a day ticket from Cambrian Anglers). We had a great day outdoors.
