As a family of 6 living in the North, heading to London takes some organising. We considered taking the train but this would have cost close to £1, 000 so we drove. Having done a bit of research we opted to park at Stanmore and get the tube. Environmentally not our first choice but the cost of rail is prohibitive.
Parking was easy, using the app was easy, it was very affordable, it was easy to get to from the motorway.
Will definitely use this option again next time we go.
Easy to get to and trains into London leave every few minutes
Albeit good access, beware of how you pay for parking!
I signed up to online parking as the signs suggested around the car park, and have been hit with a £100 parking fine. I attempted to contest it to prove that I signed up to online automatic pay parking, and apparently there are 2 accounts and I signed up to the wrong one!!
Very appalled that this hasn't been wavered as you could see that I attempted to pay in good faith, parking firms are out to get money from you in anyway possible!
Clearly don't pay online if its an infrequent visit! I won't be using this car park again!
Didnt recognise our number going in, so charged us our two days as we paid leaving, very odd..... unreliable but convenient...
Facilities are not great here.. toilets are something to stay away from unless your desperately caught short.
