The Old Bull Inn (09/22/2020)
I can’t praise this vets enough. Jane is amazing...extremely kind, compassionate and professional, she went above and beyond to ring me immediately upon test results of a lump my dog had removed to reassure me, as she knew I was anxious. All was well and I really felt her celebrate with me. Highly skilled vet practice with huge love for animals and the human touch too!

Great communication Really professional and knowledgeable, take time to explain everything thoroughly and in a lot of detail, this is why we left our old vets in Baldock as we often felt confused and left in the dark with their lack of communication . Everyone here is super clear and informative and happy to give you advice and answer any questions. Always friendly, the vets And everyone on reception are always friendly and nice to speak to.

Lovely, helpful staff. Have always been pleased with the care they have given my cats.

Outstanding...I have used this vets for what feels like a lifetime all staff including receptionists are so caring but especially Jane who took the time to support me and my Benji especially in his last few years (black lab 15yrs) and more recently the lovely Stephanie who is so caring and knowledgeable even though my Rambo is a bearded dragon she was/is so helping me...thank u all😍

I've used this vet faithfully for over a decade but they are not coping well in the current environment. Social distancing means that you need to have your consultations in the car park, which is not ok when you get bad news or need a more sensitive, private discussion. Also, if it's raining some staff are really keen to quickly get back inside. This happened to me when my dog was diagnosed with a tumour and I needed to make a decision on treatment. It was raining so the vet (not the lovely Jane) suggested that I think through the options and they would ring me to discuss. 2 + months later I am still waiting for that call, despite ringing several days in a row to chase up the consultation. My dog has recovered well from having his toe amputated at another vet, no thanks to these folks. Although the human to human contact has failed, the automated texts about products I can buy are still coming through regularly.
