We visited here on a wintery day. This is a secluded rec I had not known existed, tucked away behind Watford Town Centre. The area was clean and pleasant but really quite noisy as a result of the main road on one side and the train line above. I imagine this would be a good place to walk dogs or play sports as the lawn is large. There is some outdoor gym equipment and a children's playground which appeared to include a slide and climbing frame amongst other things, and some picnic benches nearby, which would probably be very welcome on a summer's day out with the family. Unfortunately there did not seem to be any toilet facilities which I think is a shame as it may limit the time families can spend here. This park includes some unusual statues, including one of a diver marking the site of a former fresh water lido. The river runs along one side and we enjoyed watching squirrels gathering material for a drey. I imagine there is more to see in the way of wildlife at other times of year but it was quite nippy today! All in all this is a nice surprise of a green space, but I would probably feel cautious about being here at nightfall due to its secluded nature.

I would say this is one of the best places to play pokemon go. Probably one of the main places where you can meet and complete raids with quite a few other trainers. Aside pokemon go it's a wonderful place to have a run with friends, romantic walk through the park or as previously mentioned play pokemon Go!
