Went there on Monday afternoon (3pm) place had been busy , lots of tables available but all need cleared, we were happy to wait but the waitress serving other tables walked past our tables at least five times on the way back without thinking to clear our table on the empty tray she was carrying
Quite a few tables complaining about missing items or slow service, staff didn’t take things seriously and tried to make a joke about the poor service - need more staff, better supervision and training in being attentive to customers
Only positive thing was the cakes were nice
Been twice now. First experience served by a rude waitress. Went back a second time to give benefit of the doubt and unfortunately still a rude waitress. Said if we had finished our coffee we needed to pay and leave as she had a queue waiting. However, nobody took our seats and no queue when we walked out! We had been debating to have lunch there but changed our minds quite rapidly. Wont be going back.
I ordered a large English breakfast, they brought me a standard English breakfast by mistake, I did not even touch it and after few minutes I told them it was the wrong order, the lady started to shout that I had taken someone else order, that I should have told them before, that even if I did not touch it they could not give to anyone else because I maybe had coughed on it. She said that I had to eat that and they would bring the rest of my breakfast at a later stage (30min later). I could not believe such rudeness. She want cash payment ignoring the fact that this is a very effective way to spread coronavirus. So many members of staff and total caos but plenty of family members coming in to eat and drink being served well before paying customers.
Staff were arrogant and just talked loudly at us when we needed to move etc. We ordered some food and all the food arrived except 1 which ended up coming 15 minutes later. Only accepts cash even during COVID-19. Food was nice though.
The jacket was dry no butter and garnish for salad and when asking for toilet they said no because of corona we would have to clean it and said go to car park
