Visited some time ago. It's out if the way, off the beaten track but the tea is good and the cake is very nice. Let's hope it remains for a long time or at least until it reopens as a pub.
Fantastic afternoon tea in perfect country tea room setting. Fresh sandwiches, scones and small cakes with amazing choice of very tasty teas. A must when in the area.
We took mum on Tuesday and had tea and scones with jam and cream. All very nice. Only thing was missing was some napkins, jam can be sticky so it would have been nice to have a napkin.
Great choice of really interesting teas and tisanes including some from Australia. We had excellent scones and cream followed by a great gooey choclate cake. Not cheap but you get the quality you pay for.
Nice little tea room with great selection of teas, plenty of parking and a few cakes available. Good to stop at mid walk.
