Finchcocks deserves all the praise it receives. I feel privileged to have stayed somewhere so beautiful and have access to such an amazing array of pianos. Literally everyone there went out of their way to make the weekend valuable and memorable. Huge thanks are due to Dave, Jenny, Nick, Harriet, Mark, and Natalja. It's all well thought out from the course content through to the super food. I enjoyed the company of a super group of fellow piano enthusiasts and along the way learnt a lot from them too. Learning and laughter would be a good summary. I will definitely be returning.

The description on the website as "paradise for pianists" has, in my opinion, thoroughly hit the mark. On my visit at Finchcocks I was thrilled by this unique possibility to enjoy highly professional pianistic tuition combined with the luxurious accommodation in this old, venerable venue and really delicious food and wine. The wonderful vicinity nearby to Scotney Castle is also to be mentioned as well as the friendly and amiable staff of Finchcocks piano courses. All in one, it was really worth to do all the way from Germany to experience the lovely and musical atmosphere of Finchcocks, I'll most certainly do it again!

This was my first Finchcocks experience. What a perfect set-up for our long weekend of musical indulgence that enabled us to benefit from one-on-one sessions with Florian Mitrea, our first class tutor, aswell as all the private practice needed. It was great to be able to compare notes and ideas amongst ourselves, and then to play to each other in our end of weekend recital. Thankyou again to our hosts for providing us with this superb facility combined with lovely accommodation and brilliant meals. I shall return!

This is my second course at Finchcocks, and what a fabulous place it is . The house itself is so impressive, and the accommodation is comfortable , spotlessly clean and truly luxurious. The team there are wonderful , Jenny is a star and Neil and Harriet so welcoming . The course itself was inspirational, Warren is gentle , knowledgable and able to pinpoint areas to make my playing better . The food is as good as any 5* restaurant , beautifully presented and so tasty . Thank you Finchcocks for pulling me out of my post lockdown stupor and inspiring me to achieve the next level in my playing . I’ll be back soon !!
