Wonderful walk around the reservoir. Great on a bike too
Beautiful place with lots of routes from car park. Stunning scenery.
Usk reservoir. Beautiful. At any time of year. There is a way to walk around it.and there are lovely walks off it. Also if you go at the right time of year. Wild strawberries and wild raspberries, and of course Bilberries. The fruit may be small because its the wild variety, but OMG its packed with flavour. Bilberries.. if you make a jam with these - remember to use half the amount of sugar normally used as they contain so much natural sugar.
And the reservoir...no swimming, but relaxing beauty all around you.
