Its great to see the place open under the current circumstances. The service was good and the staff were very friendly. The ice cream was lovely.
Great place to stop for a brew and a biscuit when out on a bike or walking in the winter months. Very friendly guy running the counter and I would recommend this venue for a good hot chocolate.
Sadly, they no longer make their own ice cream. The Lakes stuff they now stock is perfectly fine, but it's nowhere near as good as what Bond's used to do, and not worth the drive out to Elswick. Real shame.
Delicious ice cream! Bonds has always been a favourite of mine.
