Important to note that this is not Hill Street Car Park but Corporation Street Car Park. The google maps information is misleading. Hill Street is owned by the council but is further down by Office World. This IS NOT owned by the council but run by Parking Eye - those well known paragons of fair and tolerant parking enforcement!! My son has just been stung with a PCN because the machines weren't working, but as it's all ANPR controlled he didn't realise leaving a note in the windscreen wouldn't make any difference. One of life's lessons for him. Someone of a more cynical nature might think they deliberately leave the machines non-functioning to generate extra revenue from all the PCNs they can issue. Basically if the machines don't work don't park here.
Cameras on entry and exit so if you inadvertently overrun by a few minutes you will receive a large fine by post. Better to use the local authority car park a little further down the hill next to Office Outlet.
