Wonderful experience...not a big place but very interesting and had the place almost to ourselves. The staff are friendly and keen to explain more if you ask them. Make sure you book tickets in advance via their website!
It's very small but not very expensive. I think some of the enclosures need some work. It's quite rough around the edges. Today it took us 25 minutes to do the whole lot so we went round a second time to make the most of our 2 hour time slot. They do zoo keeper experiences with the animals which my niece did with the lemurs. She loved it.
Our 6 year old did the junior zookeeper day with Ben on her birthday. She had an absolutely amazing time and it made her day. I would highly recommend. Great place to visit.
It's really important to support these types of animal sanctuaries. I love the friendly staff, the animals are all well cared for but there are not many to see. I believe this is reflected well within the price. I personally loved the otters which never stood still and looked to be always up to mischief.
Absolutely fantastic place! The unusual animal collection is a must see! The enclosures are excellent with so much stimulation for all the species. All the animals are relaxed, happy and definitely well cared for. The staff are all so welcoming and knowledgeable. We shall be returning for a keeper experience very soon!
