Great place with fish passes on both rivers shame about the road being built so close also a great place to start or finish a walk up the river valleys with their many waterfalls and gorges the best short walk way to see both rivers fully is to start here and head up the Brun Valley through Thompsons Park and Brun Valley Park to Lake Rowley (Rooley) looping back through Towneley Park along The Calder a very popular local route on sunny days (not raining) can extend abit to Hurstwood then over top road back down to Walk Mill then through Towneley Park
