Beautiful park with lots to see & right on your doorstep. You need to have a good walk around. Great Cafe etc plenty of wildlife & a beautiful fish weir at the far end.

Nice area for a walk and has a cafe too. Enjoy a short wander around the lake, or wander further afield along the river and surrounding countryside. When we went recently it was terribly muddy, and impassable in some places without wellies. Fortunately we were prepared and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

You wouldn't believe that there is a pandemic on. My wife and i came here to walk the dog and we couldn't believe how busy it was. We didn't stay very long as there were people everywhere that was very obvious not from the same households just standing in people's ways chatting when people wanted to get past. It needs to be managed and signposted better. We did visit on a weekend, this may change during the week when kids are in school. We will definitely not be visiting again which is a shame really as it looks a very nice place.

Ideal place to go for an hour or two for a walk with paths off the beaten track to explore as well but not all are easily accessible. There is also a okay area for children. The fish steps and waterfall always look good after a rainfall
