Really pleased and encouraged by their work. I wanted the wood cladding on three dormers replaced with upvc; fascias/soffits/barge boards capped; guttering replaced; dry verge system; and dry ridge system (with new ridge tile). JR Roofing's quote seemed reasonable. I'd found cheaper, but thought their quote was fair value and more importantly, from meeting Josh (and online reviews and their web presence), that I'd be getting good work done from trustworthy people. It seemed to me throughout that attentive and diligent work was done and the team took the time to do things right, not rushing and worked through to several 8/9pm finishes to ensure progress and weather protection as required. Team were all sound and good to talk to, always happy to talk through questions I had and explain processes. Completed work looks great upclose and at distance. Throughout I could see extra time taken to ensure quality from important measures such as, where capping existing wood or when uncovering the roof battens for the verges, replacing old damaged wood with new and in smaller finishing detail. Two of my neighbours have likewise had compliments to pay, commenting on the quality of work and the team's respectful nature. Shortly after completion I noticed some of the adhesive strip from the dry ridge had unstuck in a few tiny patches, and they've been back out pretty much immediately to add more adhesive. I felt bad about this, annoyed I hadn't spotted it while the scaffolding was still up, but they were great about it: did an additional thorough check of the full length of roof and reassured me to get straight back in touch if it happens again. It's early doors, the work hasn't met the coast's regular high winds yet, but I've been given no reason not to feel confident. Really pleased.

A breath of fresh air! … We are really glad that we selected J R Roofing to complete some essential repairs to the roof and chimney of our Victorian house. Starting from a prompt and clearly presented estimate, Josh kept us well informed of progress as the work was carried out and the whole team clearly took pride in completing a good quality job. We are very happy with the result and would have no hesitation in using them again.

Really impressed with Josh and the team. Josh is a nice guy, treating his customers as friends not just someone who is about to give him money. Was impressed with our quote as he was very respectful of the competition - I hate when tradesmen bad mouth each other to get business. Talked about my roof as ‘our roof’ when updating me on where it’s up to which demonstrates that they care about the work they do. Treating it like it’s their own. He also gave good advice on other bits I needed doing around the house and suggested other tradesmen. Quote was as originally given, no nasty surprises and work looks good! Will definitely use them again.

We chose JR Roofing because of Which Trusted Traders and we were not disappointed. We had to wait 3 months for the work to commence because they were so busy, that though is a good sign even though we would have liked it completed earlier. Early September arrived along with the bad weather, on the first day it started raining. Nonetheless, they stripped the whole roof of the tiles and bitumen felt and installed a waterproof membrane to seal the roof, it rained heavily that night but not a sign of any leaks. Over the course of the next few days the roof was completed. They repositioned our guttering so that we had better flow, they installed new lead flashing around the stack pipe and installed a rubber sleeve over the top of the stack pipe so it matches the colour of the roof instead of the horrible grey colour it was. A new dry verge was also installed. Josh and his team are very friendly and professional, they even took their shoes off when using the toilet and that is something you do not always see. In December we had some very high winds which displaced some of the dry verge, I phoned them in the morning and later that day they arrived to fix it (that I was not expecting). Since then we have had no further issues and our loft is dry and usable for storage. JR Roofing are probably not the cheapest around but you do get what you pay for, therefore, I have no qualms in recommending JR Roofing for your roofing needs.

Hired JR Roofing to fix the flat roof on my kitchen extention as it had numerous leaks. Josh and the guys turned up exactly when they said they would, got straight on with the work, they were all really polite and really professional and my roof looks great! No longer have to dread the rain! Thanks so much guys, really recommend JR Roofing, they've done a great job. If you want it done professionally and properly call these guys 👍.
