My experience of this roofer is as follows:
a) Garage to be done first, house roof later, arranged a date to start the garage work, Dan didn't turn up until a week later
b)Striped tiles off the garage roof then increased the price to £4200, half the price of the quote when the garage roof was 1/4 of the size of the house roof. I refused we agreed on £3600.
c) The wrong size tile was used as it didn't allow for sufficient lap on the courses resulting in leakage in high winds and snow
d) The roof tile layout was never planned beforehand because 2” slither tiles had to be fitted on each alternate row.
e) The quote listed the logo Homepro insurance and specified 'Supply full ten years insurance backed guarantee', this I never received and according to Homepro, Dan is no longer a member.
Roof leaked 3 months after the work was completed.
Neighbours have since had replacement garage roofs by a reputable builder - an excellent job for the price of £2600
